It is electiric and everything works great on this dryer except for the big turn dial on the right. The price is only low because the dial has to be turned in the opposite direction, but it works every time and drys like it is supposed to. You will have to pick the dryer up and load it yourself...We stay on the second level of an apartment complex so there will be one set of stairs involved in the loading.
